Editorial Policy
The Northern Bulletin operates as an independent publication. Our editorial decisions are made solely by the editorial team and are not subject to influence from advertisers, sponsors, or any other commercial or political interests.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to publish accurate, well-sourced journalism. When we make errors, we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted on the relevant article with a date. If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, please contact corrections@newsin-bbc.click.
Sources and verification
We do not publish claims based on a single unverified source. Where sources request anonymity, we consider whether the public interest justifies granting it and whether the information can be corroborated independently. We do not pay sources for information.
Conflicts of interest
Journalists at the Bulletin are required to declare any personal or financial interest in subjects they cover. Where a conflict exists, the story is reassigned or the conflict is disclosed to readers.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about our journalism, please write to editorial@newsin-bbc.click with the subject line "Complaint". We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.
